Our Ethos
At Moor Wyld, we are rooted in the future of sustainable creation—where nothing goes to waste and every piece tells a unique story. We specialise in crafting one-of-a-kind jewellery from the unwanted and unused, embracing the beauty of repurposing.
In a world obsessed with trends and mass production, we slow down to focus on what truly matters: quality, the planet, and the personal connection between maker and wearer. We believe in hand-made pieces that resonate with the “funky” people who appreciate individuality and authenticity.
- PROCESS; with a strong emphasis on hand-made, slow-production where the process is involving and interactive. Experimenting with materials like glass, pebbles and upcycled beads, fusing them through techniques like sand casting and traditional forging to create jewellery with texture, depth, and personality. Each piece is a reflection of the artistic process and the time it takes to connect with the materials.
.
- RECYCLE/UPCYCLE; The majority of our materials are made by upcycling and recycling, the silver and gold is always recycled and using found goodies like pebbles from the coast, beads from carboot sales and old wears!
